Our Dad (John W. Bain) was very sick during the last eight years of his life. We offer thanks to all of the faithful and caring doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, therapists, and the staff of DCI in Decatur who ministered to him in any way. And all of the staff of the 3rd floor at Decatur General Hospital for taking such great care during Dad's last days (Joanne in particular).

Our thanks to all of his friends --- especially all of his old car dealer buddies. You don't know how much your continued company and companionship meant to him. Special thanks to Joe Thomas for being the best of the best.

Thanks also to his many friends at the Cedar Ridge Baptist Church. Bro. Hugh & Diane Bohlin and all the members who always came to see him when he needed your strength and encouragment.

Thanks to the members of his family for visits and time spent with him during these years. Especially Grady, Jewel Dean, Sandra, Jerry & Leonne for your recent visits. You don't know how much your presence meant to him.

Terri and Liz. Cooking, cleaning, washing, loving and laughter. You were both always there for Daddy.

Charise and Jonathan. Thank you for every kiss and every hug you gave to our Dad. Every minute that you spent with him --- all of your lives --- were the very best moments and memories of his life. You were his first and his last ---- and it is because of you and your relationship with him that in the end --- we all called him Papaw.
